I am a warm, compassionate, and passionate pre-accredited psychotherapist whose life's work has always centred around caring for people, both physically and emotionally.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a healthcare assistant in both hospital and palliative care settings. Those experiences taught me the importance of simply being present with people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. They showed me that healing often begins when someone feels truly seen, heard, and accepted.
I genuinely care about people and feel privileged to hear their stories. I believe that every person has inherent worth, regardless of what they have experienced or the challenges they face. My aim is to provide a safe, welcoming space where you can be yourself without fear of judgement. I am naturally open, warm, and empathetic, and I love getting to know people, understanding what has shaped them, and discovering what helps them live a more fulfilling life.

How I work
My practice is grounded in the Person-Centred Approach. At the heart of my work is a simple philosophy: just be sound. While that may not be a formal psychological theory, it reflects how I strive to show up for every client—with kindness, authenticity, respect, and genuine care. I believe that when people feel safe, accepted, and understood, they are better able to explore their inner world and begin the process of healing.
Alongside my person-centred foundation, I work within an addiction service, where I have seen first-hand that there is goodness in everyone, no matter what they have been through. I believe we all carry different parts of ourselves, some that we embrace and others that we struggle with. Together, we can gently explore these parts with curiosity and compassion, helping you develop greater self-acceptance and understanding.
Many of the beliefs we carry about ourselves are shaped by past experiences, relationships, and trauma. In therapy, we will explore those beliefs together, discovering which ones truly belong to you and which were placed upon you by others or by difficult life experiences. My hope is that, by the end of our work together, you will leave with a deeper understanding of yourself, greater self-compassion, and the freedom to live more authentically.
